My personal statement of mission

 

I strive to incorporate my values in my personal and professional life.  I will maintain and foster relationships with others.  Exploration is vital as I continue to step outside my comfort zone; I will not lose my thirst.  I will remain curious and continue learning about other cultures.  Through all challenges I will maintain my optimism and integrity.  I will live in a way that allows me to take pride in my personal and professional decisions. 

 

In my work I prioritize students. One of my greatest strengths is flexibility, which I will continue to utilize.  I will challenge myself, my colleagues, and my students every day. I will not let fear stop me from fostering my commitment to social justice.  I will take all actions with a sense of purpose and intentionality.  I will remember to prioritize my own personal development and work-life harmony so that I can be the best possible version of myself.  Despite not knowing exactly where my path may lead, I move forward with confidence that I will arrive at my destination.  I commit to living in the present and devoting myself to the here and now.
